SiDi [A Sidney Crosby Story] Nine; B-days & Canada

Finally they got to the Lemieux house "Hi Sid, who`s this?" Nathalie asked.
"This is Kailey, my girlfriend."
"Hi Kailey, come in guys. When did you two meet?"
"Um about three weeks ago, outside the arena."
"Well why don`t you two go into the living room & I`ll go finish making dinner."
"What are we having?" Sid asked once they walked into the living room.
"Your favorite, spaghetti."
About five minutes later Mario came down. "Nathalie, how much time til dinner?"
"Right now."
"Ok, do you know where Austen is?"
"No could you go & find him?" Nathalie asked.
"Sid can you do it?"
"Austen, food!"
Austen came running into the dining room. They all sat down & started eating.
"Hello Kailey," Mario said.
"Hi."
"I think that you should give more speeches in the locker room before games `cause that last one you gave really got the team going."
"Thanks, well I just don`t want the team to go back to the way you guys were at the beginning of the season."
"I don`t think that anyone wants us to go back to that."
After dinner Sid took Kay home & things went on like that until May. On May third the day after Andrea’s b-day Sid & Kay were at her house talking.
"So what are you gonna do this summer?" Sid asked.
"Well in August my family & I are going to Scotland for 18 days. What are you doing?"
"Nothing really, I might go see my parents for a couple days & just hang out here."
"That`s cool, hey maybe you could come to Scotland with us."
"And maybe you could come to Canada with me & meet my parents."
"Ok sounds good to me," Kay said & lay her head on his shoulder.
That weekend Kay was supposed to meet Sid at the arena to skate. But when she got there & went into the locker room he was with another girl. "Sid, how could you?"
"Kay, wait it`s not what you think."
Kay ran out to the bench, Sid came over & sat next to her. "Kay it`s not what you think, I promised that I wouldn`t cheat on you & I would never break that promise."
"Then who was that girl."
"That`s Anne, my mom sent her here, we were just talking."
"Are you lying?"
"Why would I cheat on you, I love you."
"I know it`s just I walked in & you were with her."
"I didn`t know she was coming I just walked in & she was here."
"Ok, I`m sorry."
"It`s ok," Sid said then they both stood up & went to the locker room."
They skated for three hours then went to get something to eat at Eat `n Park. The next day Sid went over to Kay`s & they were playing videogames. "Do u think we should ask your mom about this summer?" Sid asked.
"Let`s wait til my dad gets home."
At about five Kay`s got home & Sid & Kay went upstairs. "Mom, dad, can Sid & I talk to you?"
"Sure what about?" Kay`s dad asked.
"Well I was wondering if over the summer Sid could come to Scotland, & if I could go to Canada for like a week & meet Sid`s parents?"
"Well I see no problem with it, as long as you two sleep in different rooms."
"Thank you daddy." Kay said jumping up & down.
In June, on the 18th Sid picked Kay up & took her out to dinner at Red River BBQ, they both had Ribs. They went & saw a movie, & then this was time for him to give her the present.
"I hope you like it," he said handing it to her.
"I`m sure I will," she said ripping the wrapping paper off. She opened the box. & inside was a silver locket that had (Sid & Kay 4ever) written on it & inside was a picture of the two of them from after the pens won a game. "Baby, I love it, thank you."
Sid drove her home then walked her to the door. "Happy birthday baby, I love you."
"I love you too," she said then kissed him
The next day Kay`s phone rang. "Hello?"
"Hey I just got off the phone with my mom & we`re going to go tomorrow."
"Ok, so I`ll pack right now, how are we getting to Canada?"
"We`re gonna fly, our flight is at eight am, so we need to be at the airport at six. So we need to leave at five. So do you wanna pack, then come over & sleep on the couch over here so I don`t have to come & get you?"
"Sure, so come get me in about an hour," she said then hung up.
She packed, Sid picked her up & they were off to Lemieux`s house.
The next day they got to the airport in Canada at about 12pm. They got our bags & went to go look for Sid`s mom. They found her after about 20 minutes "Sid," a little girl said & ran up to him.
"Tay," he said giving her a hug. "Hi mom."
"Hello Sidney."
"Mom, Tay, this is my girlfriend Kay." he said with a smile. "Kay this is my sister Taylor & my mom Trina."
"I`m glad to finally meet you."
"Nice to meet you." Kay said shaking Mrs. Crosby`s hand.
"So where`s dad?" Sid asked.
"He`s at home," She said just before they went out to the car. They got to the house it was really nice. "Sid, show Kay where she`ll be sleeping."
"Ok," Sid said then picked up her suitcase & bag & led her down a long hall. At the end of the hall there were two rooms across from each other. Sid opened the door on the right. "Here ya go, the bed & there`s a closet, it`s not much but you`re not going to be spending much time in here."
"Where`s your room?"
"Right across from you, you wanna see it?"
She nodded & they walked across to the other room. There were hockey jerseys, pictures, medals, & posters all over the walls. "So what do you wanna do?"
She shrugged her shoulders.
"Well we could go swimming," he said with a smile.
"Ok."
"Alright, well let`s get unpacked then we can go swimming."
Kay went to my room & unpacked. After unpacking she changed into her light blue bikini, got a towel & went outside. The backyard was awesome, a stone patio & a huge pool that went up to 10 ft. About a minute later Sid came out, he was wearing penguins swim trunks.
"You look nice," he said.
"Thanks so do you," she said with a smile.
"You ready to swim?"
"Yeah."
"Do you wanna jump into the deep end with me?"
"Ok," she said as Sid grabbed her hand & they walked to the edge of the pool. They backed up, ran & Kay let go & Sid went into the pool alone.
"Hey," he said when he came up from under water.
"Sorry."
"Get in here," he said splashing her.
"Fine," she said then ran up & did a cannonball.
They spent about an hour in the pool then went to the hot tub. After about five minutes they started to kiss, after 25 minutes after that they got out & went inside.
"Dad, this is my girlfriend Kay, Kay this is my dad Troy." Sid said at dinner that night.
They had fun the whole week we were there.
Later in the summer they went to Scotland & had fun. Chuck`s band place twelfth over all in the competition.
